New York Knicks star JR Smith, and NBA Sixth Man of the Year, has decided to opt out of his current contract with the Knicks, giving him an option to go to another team.
The Knicks were scheduled to pay Smith $2.9 million this upcoming season. This situation puts Carmelo Anthony and the rest of his team at a standstill, especially after veteran Jason Kidd retired this off season.
Smith has the option to get signed by another team of his choice at a higher price tag, or the Knicks could re-sign him to more money.
Where do you think JR Smith will end up?
