FAMU Marching 100 is BACK!

According to the AP, the historically black university, Florida A&M University will be reinstating their famous band very soon.

The Marching 100 plans on having a news conference later today.

The Marching 100 band was suspended back in 2011, after the death of drum major Robert Champion resulted from hazing.

FAMU’s new band director, Sylvester Young, was hired in May and has been pushing hard to have the band back on the field this coming season.

Instagram Makes a Superman Move, By Adding a New Filter

Owned by Facebook, consumers could have guessed that soon, Instagram would be making a few changes.

But did we really expect this?

Instagram will now have video features, supported on both iPhone and Android!

“We talk about Instagram as capturing and sharing the world’s moments. It’s not just about photography,” IFounder of Instagram, Kevin Systrom, said in an exclusive “Nightline” interview with Bill Weir. “There are a ton of moments in the world that can’t be captured in single images.”

So they decided to allow you to capture those moments with film. You can put up from 3 second to 15 seconds of video, then add special video filters to you video.

And the best part is, you can still easily link them to your other social media sites.

I don’t know about you, but I think vine can say good night now….with Instaram being so popular, I could see users continuing to use that. But that’s just my opinion. We will find out in the long run however.

The update to Instagram is available today…..try it if you dare, I know I will!
